Matt Bate – Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy
Matt qualified in Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy at the Raworth Institute of Sport. He is a full member of the Sports Massage Association (Level 4) and has been on the National Register since he graduated in 2002. Aside to this, he has also acquired an HND in Sports Science with Sport Injuries in association with the Nottingham Trent University. Matt provides sports massage therapy from the Peterborough, Spalding and Stamford clinics. He works closely with a number of local running clubs including Stamford Striders and Park Run.
His skills range from Pre and Post event treatment, employing numerous Muscle Energy Techniques as part of Injury Rehabilitation to decrease pain and increase strength and flexibility.
Treatments are geared towards professional sports people but the techniques can be transferred to all members of the public, including working posture and the stresses and strains of everyday life.
Matt has always been a keen sports enthusiast and uses this in evaluating and tailoring his treatments to suit the clients needs
