Kati Brubakken is a physiotherapist for Total Health Clinics and practices her physiotherapy from the Cambridge and Huntingdon physio clinics.
Originally, from the United States where she graduated from The Ohio State University with her Bachelor of Sciences (BSc) degree in Biology. She then attended the University of Dayton where she obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
Kati has experience working in a variety of different physiotherapy settings including acute care, skilled nursing facilities, and orthopedic/sports medicine clinics (with her favorite being the latter!). She enjoys treating all areas of the body but her special interests include the shoulders, knees, and ankles.
Her treatment style comprises a combination of hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and patient education. She believes arming her patients with the knowledge and tools to improve their own health makes all the difference.
In her spare time, Kati enjoys running, cross training, watching movies and travelling.
