Total Health Pilates

Pilates is a full body workout designed by Joseph Pilates. Pilates aims to strengthen the whole body as well as focusing on core strength. Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates, he felt that different types of strengths were connected very closely. The two in particular mental and physical, Joseph focused on these two health’s and with his fundamental exercises opened a studio in New York where he taught his method of Contrology. Now the Pilates method is practised worldwide.

In Pilates we use some equipment such as mats, bands, blocks and balls. These are used to enhance, compliment and challenge the exercises we do.
